Krista Milhofer

As a transition coordinator, Krista helped individuals and families connect to services. She was a presenter at the 2014 and 2016 APSE Pacific Northwest Employment Forums on school-to-work transition programs and recipient of the 2008 Joanne Oljefski Award in recognition of her commitment, caring, and respect for people with disabilities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College and is a certified Community Employment Service Professional. Now she is the Owner of Planning The Next Steps, LLC.


Amanda Sparkman

A certified Home Care Aide, Mandy is able to provide supports to people out in the community. A graduate of Olympia High School and The Evergreen State College Project SEARCH program provided a firm education and a firsthand look into the needs of young people in the Olympia area. Mandy's focus on customer service and her upbeat attitude make her a great to work with.


Deborah Cook

Debbie combined her Community Guide company with Planning the Next Steps LLC in 2017. With almost a decade as a Life Skills Paraeducator within the local school district, as well as her time as a small business owner, and former art teacher, much of Debbie's work has focused on individuals who utilize 1:1 support. Debbie has a firm foundation of techniques that she uses to assist people in the community.


Jayanne Scott

Jayanne has been a para-educator with the Olympia School District for well over a decade. She is currently working with Project SEARCH transition students on The Evergreen State College campus. Jayanne is resourceful when it comes to connecting students with local business opportunities. She is currently employed with Planning the Next Steps on a part-time basis.

Brad Davenport

Brad has worked in an educational capacity throughout the Puget Sound area for the past decade. He has experience educating young adults in community access and community safety with vocational careers. He holds a Bachelors of Science from Central Washington University and a Bachelors of Arts from The Evergreen State College with a Minor in Special Education.


Sue Allen

Sue is the former director of Capital Clubhouse, the not-for-profit community mental health agency based out of Olympia. She has an extensive body of experience in providing services in support of individuals' goals and engagement with their community. 

Lisa Braun

Lisa is the owner-operator of Above & Beyond Caregiving based out of Olympia, Washington. When she's not providing personal care services she works as a community guide with Planning the Next Steps.
